prefix of our name, “Omni,” meaning unlimited, represents our belief in our
boundless abilities and potential. Our
mission is to be “unlimited” in
the designing, engineering, and production of castings. In order to
achieve this mission, we anticipate and exceed our customers' needs in innovation, technology, experience,
quality, and value.

Our Founder
Vaughn
W. Makary, the president of Omnicast, LLC., is also the CEO of Michigan
Steel Inc., a steel casting producer.
Vaughn is the former CEO of a $700 million company which produced and supplied cast and fabricated products to the railroad industry and
general commercial markets. He
currently serves as a strategic advisor for the Falls River Group,
LLC., an investment banking firm, and as president of Advanced Casting
Technology, a consulting company for the metal casting industry.
Vaughn’s
thirty-one year career in the metal casting and railroad supply industries
is one of progressive corporate management experience, which included the responsibility for 33 factories with more than 6000 employees in 10
countries worldwide. While
Vaughn's abilities in the areas of international business growth and development
and domestic and international marketing are highly respected, his technical expertise in developing industrial manufacturing
facilities and directing operational activities is unsurpassed in the
industry.
Vaughn
served as a board member of the Steel Founders Society of America from
1991 through 1997 and as President of the Society in 1996 and 1997.
Concurrently, he received the Frederick A. Lorenz Medal, the
highest award for contributions toward technical and operational development
in the steel casting industry.
